About the story
Suzume is a film about a protagonist who goes on a journey to “close the doors” on disasters. its a question whether any romantic elements come into play, but this is primarily a story about Suzume’s adventure and finding closure/moving on in life.
A 17 year old girl named Suzume Iwato living in a quiet town in Kyushu who falls in love with a travelling young man , who is on a journey for finding the door. Things happens and now that young man is a chair. the movie have well utilized the past events and Japanese mythology. long story short , its an emotional journey of a girl to save Japan and the one she loves.
